DEBBACHE LAGIOS EE GRO

GROBO (GIZELIS ROBOTICS) was funded to provide services to Greek and European industries and high technological products. Gizelis Robotics is the youngest company of GIZELIS S.A. group of companies who is the biggest manufacturer of press brakes, shearing, and plasma cutting machines in Greece with over 60% of production exported to other EU countries. In 2004 GIZELIS S.A. formed a strategic alliance with German company Boschert GmbH. With this alliance a new series of machines has emerged, aiming to provide the customer with a full range of high quality sheet material processing machines. All manufacturing procedures for both companies take place in two privately owned factories situated within the European Union. Gizelis Robotics is activated in the area of robotics developing solutions for companies who want to integrate robots in their production. Gizelis Robotics designs the robotic systems, the control systems and automations.
Due to its machining with robots background and deploying complete production solutions Gizelis Robotics will mainly be involved in the demo activities concerning the robotized solutions in SYMPLEXITY. In this context Gizelis Robotics will put its efforts in applications like f.e. Laser polishing identifying and developing efficient product and process allocation strategies based on the evaluation of new production systems and the potential for human safety operations that they possess.
