Welcome to the SYMPLEXITY website

Introduction

The 48 month SYMPLEXITY project aims to develop totally new possibilities for collaborative working environments for polishing tasks.

Today in nearly every sector of industrial manufacturing polishing techniques are used. But often manual polishing is the only option because the tasks are too complex to be automated. Therefore in SYMPLEXITY Symbiotic Human-Robot Solutions for Complex Surface Finishing Operations will be developed. The main SYMPLEXITY objectives and further information about the project can be found here.

Consortium

1st Meeting Aachen

The consortium consists of 15 partners from universities, end-users, integrators and polishing experts. The partners come from 6 countries all over Europe. A list of the consortium members can be found here, detailed information about each partner can be seen after clicking the partner abbreviation.
